Nvidia, one of the world’s largest technology companies, has announced plans to build a huge new campus in Kiryat Tivon, in northern Israel. The campus will be able to hold up to 10,000 employees and is expected to become Nvidia’s main base in the country.

The new campus will be built on 90 dunams of land and will include offices, research labs, green parks, cafes, restaurants, and shared work spaces. It will be designed to encourage creativity, teamwork, and innovation. Construction is planned to begin in 2027, with the first employees moving in around 2031.

Today, Nvidia employs about 5,000 people in Israel. With this new campus and existing offices, the company could employ as many as 15,000 people in Israel within the next decade. If that happens, Nvidia would become the largest private employer in the country.

Nvidia’s CEO, Jensen Huang, said that Israel has become the company’s second home. He praised the talent of Israeli engineers and said the new campus shows Nvidia’s long-term commitment to Israel and to building the future of artificial intelligence.

Local leaders say the project will bring major growth to the region, including new jobs, stronger communities, and increased demand for housing in nearby towns such as Kiryat Tivon, Ramat Yishai, Yokneam, and Haifa. At the same time, the project will require improvements to roads, public transportation, and electricity infrastructure.

Overall, the announcement is another sign of global confidence in Israel’s technology sector and its future.
